Yeah, things have changed a lot! I also heard that they have PCs, Email, and internet access while at sea... Wonder if they still have the 2 types of milk and 2 types of bug juice...lol... Still sleeping on 2" foam mattresses on sheet metal, and only a small curtain for privacy? 2 movie channels? no space in the berthings...
I guess they'd think the Sag was archaic!
Speaking of uniforms, though, interestingly enough I noticed that the women are wearing normal dress whites and blues now too... I was surprised when I saw that at first, but figured that was probably a good thing.
It also looks like they're using new materials for some of the uniforms. I wonder if I'd ever be able to fill out my old seabag...
I wonder if I could get one of the new ones and just bleach the heck out of it!
Oh well... If anyone knows where I can find an old one, please let me know!
