: My son is stationed 80 miles north of us so he comes home almost every weekend and this morning (Monday) I noticed his truck was still here... I woke him thinkin he was AWOL or something. He informed me that he had a 1/2 day off since he had a mid-watch on Thurs.! He said that if they have mid-watch during the work week they get the whole day off but if there is a weekend starting the day after they ONLY get 1/2 day Mon. On top of that, he only works 4 10hr. shifts so he has 3 day weekends anyway! I kinda wish they'd take 46 year olds these days!

Mac - sometimes I wonder if I did the right thing by getting out. I think that when the grass looks greener on the other side of the fence just remember that it is ONLY GRASS!!! Besides, with our luck they would get the Sag back from the Aussies and make us ride it! Best wishes to all and take care - Ralph.
