: Saw the movie this weekend. I might have been seeing things but I think they showed a quick glimpse of a Newport class LST in one of the arial shots of ships anchored at Pearl. Some of the Destroyer hulls looked a little more modern than 1941 as well.
Yes, I saw the same thing. I guess they needed more Large Slow Targets. Takes a Navy man to spot stuff like this.
