Welcome to my personal home page.
Hi. My name is Brad Broerman, and I work as a software engineer for Car-Part.com (The worlds largest online search engine for used car parts), specializing in Java web applications and E-Commerce, in Cincinnati, Ohio . I have a BS in Computer Engineering
from Wright State University , in Dayton, Ohio, and I am a member of
Triangle Fraternity , a social fraternity for engineers, architects, and scientists. I am married, with 5 children, 4 of which are grown. One is currently serving in the US Army.
I'm also a veteran. I spent four years in the U.S. Navy, stationed in Norfolk, Virginia aboard the USS Saginaw (LST-1188) .
Currently, my hobbies include taking care of my family, hiking and camping with the Boy Scouts, staying very active in the Order of the Arrow, and the lodge's Native American Dance and Drum Team,
or just lounging around watching a good movie. The whole family is interested in hiking and camping, and we are all involved in Scouting (Boy Scouts, and Order of the Arrow). This gives
us many opportunities for camping! I also write a fair amount of software in my spare time, currently working on secure web applications and WordPress plugins for my scout troops ( Troop 750 in Mason, Ohio and Troop 742 in Batavia, Ohio).
When I have time, I also build websites for small companies. I have a GitHub repository with all my released free projects...
